    ~Dr. George Tiller. Three years ago today Dr. Tiller, an abortion provider in Wichita, Kansas, was murdered. Today we remember his courageous and compassionate work as both a health care provider and a women’s health advocate. Our thoughts are with Dr. Tiller’s family and loved ones.

    I’ve said it before - here and on a number of different sites - and I’ll say it again. Planned Parenthood saved my life as a teenager*; yes, kids, there was a time when we thought the reproductive rights battle was won. Booy, were we naive. Dr. Tiller, thank you.

    *no, I didn’t get pregnant. That’s how they saved my life.
