Porque si.
Yesterday marked the 35th anniversary of the attack on a leftist labor law firm on Atocha Street in Madrid. 5 were killed and 4 were wounded/maimed for life. The resulting public reaction lead to the biggest anti-government demonstrations of the post Franco era to date, and the legalization of the Spanish Communist Party. Click on the photo for a link to a Wikipedia story. The crap photo is from my own little android phone. The memorial in the photo is around the corner from my house. The office where the massacre occurred is half a block from the statue. I pass both every day and never forget that the victims died for my rights as a worker and a citizen (well, legal resident in my case).
Labor rights history is woefully undertaught and virtually unknown by a lot of people. Do your part to educate yourselves and your friends.
